    LOVED IT

    I LOVED THIS BOOK FROM THE TIME I OPENED IT AND STARTED READING. IS THERE A BOOK TWO I HOPE SO. I WANT TO KNOW HOW IT ENDS OR AT LEAST CONTINUES.

    This book is sexy.

    Kelli Maine never disappoints! Great novella, very well written. Black Betty and Alistair are awesome together!

    Excellent

    I loved this book, it was excellent. I loved Alistar and Bethany and cant wait until the next book. I have loved all of Kelli's books, she never fails to write excellent books! Big fan! xo

    The Dolls & Doms Novella Series is going to be so much fun t

    The Dolls & Doms Novella Series is going to be so much fun to read! It has sex, romance, and a little bit of suspense in there too. I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to read more. 




    In this first installment of the series, we meet Black Betty, aka Bethany, and Alistair. Ok listen...I want my very own Alistair Ingram. This guy is hot! He's a movie star, but he really is a very down to earth kind of guy. That made him almost more appealing to me. I liked Bethany too. She brings along a set of troubles that may make things difficult for Alistair. So, with the combo of his celebrity and her shady past, things are about to get interesting. At this point, Alistair and Bethany head back to LA in order to keep Bethany safe from her ex. While in LA, Bethany lets her guard down and she and Alistair act on their attraction to each other. It was hot! I'm not sure where the series will go from here, but I loved where Alistair and Bethany's relationship was heading in the end. 




    Overall, I really liked it. This novella series reads like a sitcom. It would be a perfect tv show. It was fun, fast paced, and certainly sexy. I definitely recommend it.

    I have to say that I am in love with the concept and idea behind

    I have to say that I am in love with the concept and idea behind this book!  Wrapping up a movie star with Christian Grey like qualities sounded divine,  but I got lost in the execution of the story.

    Bethany works under the persona of Black Betty at the exclusive club, Dolls & Doms.  She is a dominatrix who loves making willing participants submit.  When she meets Alistair Ingram, she can't wait to work her magic on him she never expects the tables to be turned on her.  Bethany's demons keep her from connecting to anyone physically or emotionally, so when she feels that spark with Alistair it scares the hell out of her.

    Alistair was just trying to have fun at his bachelor party.  When his best man signed him up for a session with the dominatrix, he never expected his world to be turned upside down.  He is mesmerized by 'Black Betty'  and the strength that he sees underneath her exterior.  He recognizes her pain, fear and resignation; mainly because he lives with those same feelings every day.  After their session, he knows that he will never be able to let her go.

    After being introduced to both characters, I was really excited to read what I thought would be Alistair's submission to Black Betty.  After reading, I enjoyed the story but I was as confused on their roles, as they were.  Alistair played the submissive to Bethany's dom only to appease, he never truly submitted to her.  Bethany played the dom because of how terribly she was previously hurt while a submissive.  That has never been her true nature.  For me, the importance of the story was found in how the characters helped each other heal, acceptance and validation for who they were and in the discovery of their love for the other.

    Overall, this is great introduction to Kelli Main's writing, as well as the Dolls & Doms series!  I look forward to reading more.

    This is my first story from Kelli Maine and I’m hooked!! I may have missed the start of the series that this came from when it originally began on the Dolls and Doms blog but you can bet I’m going to be reading each week when the new series starts in March!

    Alistair and Black Betty…I loved these two together, no matter who was on top! I could feel the internal conflicts going on for both of them, particularly Black Betty. So many sides to her are revealed – strength, vulnerability, dom and sub – and each one is such an important part of who she is or can be. And Alistair, he’s super cocky and damn hot because of it! Then throw in his desire to care for and be with Black Betty…*sigh*.

    This may be a novella but there’s so much to love about it. I can only hope that Alistair and Black Betty’s story continues!

    Awesome

    Loved it! Characters, plot sex scense.... all was great. I have loved all that i have read of this aurthor. Cant wait for more. But wish she would hurry!
