The Sun Gods

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - John Bush
The three-disc box Sun Gods includes a wealth of rare rockabilly material including tracks by Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Prisonaires, Roy Orbison, Charlie Rich and over 45 minutes of Elvis Presley interview material. The presence of several overly anthologized tracks "Folsom Prison Blues," "Claudette" are completely unnecessary, but The Sun Gods is a treasure trove for early rock & roll fans.
