After changing into a t-shirt and jeans, Louisa headed downstairs, sliding down the banister and taking a left. Savant sat at the table, feeding Ben bits of fried egg with a spoon and taking sips from his Sooooop, an alchemical drink Ingro sod at his aldrug store.

"Greetings, birthday girl. And welcome to our planet. 'Sup?" He inquired, handing the spoon to the baby, who threw it out the window and farted.

Lou couldn't help but smile as she hugged her boyfriend, and stiffled laughter as Ben made faces to Shadowforth, who stared at the child in puzzlement. She let out a sigh and rested her chin on Vant's shoulder. "I have a present for you. 'Cause, it's like, your birthday," he said, letting go and pulling a box from thin air.

She caught it as he tossed it, pulling the ribbon apart and opening the small black box. Inside was a necklace, with the words Ex Nihilo engraved on it. In Lou's family, this was considered as a wedding proposal. "I--" she started to say something, anything, but Vant was kissing her again.

Arch rapped a knuckle on the window frame. "Hello, lover boy...and girl." He vaulted the sill, tossing Louisa a medallion. "It'll strengthen your connection to telekinetic power," he explained. It was obvious Ingro and Founder had collaborated to make this, therefore cutting down on the amount of money they needed to spend on her.

"Thank you..." Louisa said in an excited voice. She leaped forward and hugged Arch, who winked at Savant and patted her on the back. "Vant just asked me to marry him!" She said in a high-pitched voice.

"Oh...I thought it was about my present," he said with a bit of teasing disappointment. She punched him on the shoulder.
