Overview

God’s plan has never been to help believers avoid pain. In fact, He uses difficult seasons and relationships to propel His children toward their destiny. The healing process from emotional and spiritual wounds is a journey that prepares Christians to live powerful lives, fully trusting the God who has freed them from the past.
Jason Vallotton thought his world was burning down around him when he found out that his wife, Heather, was having an affair and planned to leave him and their children. Using his own story as a poignant, evocative illustration of God’s grace and healing, Jason invites readers to reframe their understanding of redemption. With his dad, Kris Vallotton, Jason shows believers how they can steward the hardest times and deepest pain in their lives and allow God to use them to lay a foundation for complete restoration and empowerment for the future. While it may be hard to see emotional wounds as gifts when they still hurt so deeply, those who read The Supernatural Power of Forgiveness will discover that God can not only heal their wounds, but He can also use the process of healing to equip them for whole, fulfilled and powerful lives.

Meet the Author

KRIS VALLOTTON is the co-founder and senior overseer of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, which has grown to more than 1,200 full time students in 13 years. He is also the founder and president of Moral Revolution, an organization dedicated to cultural transformation. Kris is the senior associate leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California, and has served on Bill Johnson’s apostolic team for more than 30 years. He has written five other books, including the bestseller Supernatural Ways of Royalty. Kris's revelatory insight and humorous delivery make him a much sought-after international conference speaker. He has been happily married for 35 years and has four children and eight grandchildren.

JASON VALLOTTON was born and raised in Weaverville, CA, a small town known for its mountainous views and mellow pace of life. He got a quick start in life after getting married at the age of 18 to his high school sweetheart and fathering their three children by the age of 24 (Elijah, Rilie and Evan). Jason’s life has been riddled with challenges, from raising a young family and fighting fires through the hills of Northern California, to overcoming the heartbreak of his marriage dissolving in 2008. He has become a testimony to the redemptive power of perseverance and unconditional love. Jason’s love for people and his drive to see them completely whole, has led him to Redding CA, where he helps to oversee a School of Ministry and a men’s sexual purity group. Having gone through the hardships of life and come out on the other side, Jason has a heart to see people restored to complete wholeness and freedom, the way God intended them.
