After witnessing an attack on a young woman, Margo,
Margo Preistley, an award winning actress, at the peak of her career, had it all, until the day her daughter was brutally raped and murdered. Unable to face her untimely loss, she attempts suicide, only to fail miserably and end up ordered to attend a Support group for the families, of victims of violent crimes.
After witnessing an attack on a young woman, Margo, unable to ignore the situation, decides to go to the rescue. She kills the assailant, but then watches helplessly as the victim, and her only witness, flees the scene. Unable to legally justify her actions, Margo, and her now accomplice, Peta, drive away before the police arrive. Luckily, her companion knows someone within the group who can help them.
When yet another member is put in peril, the group decides to come together as a team to eliminate the threat. They soon realize that collectively, they have the ability, contacts, and means necessary to rectify any situation. Together, they can find, and punish, the very people responsible for securing their places, as members of The Support Group.
About the Author: SHIRLEY OLDRIDGE -- Born and raised in Leeds, in the North of England. Trained as a croupier and began working in the casino industry in the early 80s. Left England in 1986, for a 4 year stint in the Bahamas, followed by a move to Las Vegas.
After seeing two or three alarming cases in the news, Oldridge became enraged, in disbelief at the heinous crimes being committed, and from this anger an idea for a book emerged. She became passionate about the subject material and voila!, The Support Group was born.

A fantastic read. I had a hard time putting this down! Shirley Oldridge jerks your emotions and makes you feel for each of the characters, and before you know you'll be cheering loudly for the support group.
