Meet the Author

My name is not really Erica Stevens, it is a pen name that I chose in memory of two amazing friends lost to soon. However, I was born in New York and moved to Mass as a child. I spent my time growing up between NY and Mass so I have some interesting times when sports games roll around. I was fortunate enough to marry my best friend over two years ago and I don't know what I'd do without him. I have a large, crazy, fun loving family that just loves to laugh. My parents, siblings, nieces and nephews have taught me a lot and made my life much more entertaining and enjoyable. I love to read and have wanted to be a writer since I was nine years old.

I have been following the weekly chapters for the second book on your blog page but the suspense is killing me, I just want to whole book now, please;) Very creative and enjoyable read! Would definitly be awful if this were to really happen, scary thought! Fantastic book though! Loved it! Just like I love all of your books!

    Edge of your seat suspence

Well worth the read. You fall in love with the main charecters and root for them! Hopefully something goes right for them. Action and suspence, and a little romance sprinkled in.

    Excelllent read!!!!!!

I live in Massachusetts and enjoy reading these stories because I know exactly where these places are and it spurs you imagination of "what if". Can't put this story down. Chapter one grabs you and sucks you right into the characters and story.

A GREAT new series. I am on the 3rd installment, which is done as a serial, a chapter a week. Which, I myself, love!! We meet our new friends in this book. See what the new world is like and bite our nails and hope for the best for the people in the book. Erica writes so well you forget these are not real people. Which I find spectacular. It takes a great author to draw you into a world that they made up in their head. She has that ability. I find this better than The Stand. which was my favorite end of world book. Sorry Stephen. Run now and BUY this book and the 2nd one. You won't regret it!!

    Worst book I've ever read

I have struggled through to about page 200 and I don't think i can take much more of this 3rd grade writing style. Giving this one up! Bleh. I'm giving it 1 srar because there might be a 3rd grader that might enjoy it.

I haven't given a 5 star review until I read this incredible dystopian book. It's long but reads fast and grips you from the beginning and won't let go. The down side is nothing is resolved about the characters or how our planet is ripped apart. The writer plans on doing weekly chapters and releasing them on facebook...sorry...I think it's better to wait and read it in a series. So I'm disappointed but will wait and gladly pay for the next complete book. Jp

    Excellent book T

Great read, non stop action novel. The characters are well developed, likable and make you care about what happens to them. I could not put this book down! This is action meets mystery meets *horrorifyingly* realistic story. Doomsday preppers are you ready for this???? lol. Seriously, this book is an amazing page turner :-) .
