    A Unique Twist

This is such an inspiring book! I have been felting old wool sweaters for several years and it was beginning to feel stale. This book has unusual designs and clever ideas for even your scraps of wool. All of the projects are hand sewed, though I use my machine for most projects and then embelish by hand. Crispina Ffrench has beautiful ideas and if you like unique designs, this is the book for you.

    Mediocre

This book has some redeeming qualities I must say. Things like how to use even the smallest of scraps from your wool sweater stash, the author's personal story and her witty asides, and some new joins that I had not thought of. The book is also great for someone who wants to learn how to start the whole process of upcycling and recycling old wool sweaters. If you have any experience with this medium I think it is redundant and not very fulfilling with material. I will keep it because it is a pretty book but I have a feeling it will only get pulled out 1 time a year.
