Ariel Ellman received her BA in English Literature from Drew University. A native New Yorker, she now resides in New Jersey with her husband and five children. She has been writing since she was a little girl. This is her first novel.

I started this book and immediately was riveted to the Story... I could not put it down. The writing was phenomenal in that I felt like I wanted to move to Boston and immerse myself in that neighborhood, the people, their lives, the shops. I loved that Ani and Sebastian reunited right from the start and the unbreakable bond that they shared was still strong, despite the 15 years, scars, unfolding lives, transition to adulthood and tragic events between them...

I loved this book from start to finish and did not want it to end...good think #2 is coming soon. Ariel Ellman is a gifted storyteller. She walks you through a tale of love and pain with the mastery of a seasoned writer. I would put the kids to bed and then stay up late reading and would wake up looking forward to reading some more. At times the story made me blush, but only because the tender/sensual moments were so vividly written. A must read!
