    Story: GOOD
    Intimacy Level: GOOD
    Enjoyment: GOOD
    Style: African American Romance
    Series: Love Conquers All #5

This was another well written story by the author and I truly enjoyed it. I enjoy her fusion of friends, family and couples as you feel like your watching a long episode of soul food. Roxanna, was a shy ten year old who always admired eighteen year old Adam. However, Adam found Roxanna to be irritating and menacing as she was also the best friend of his sister. Fast forward to sixteen years later, hurt and sadness shared has brought Adam and Roxanna together.

This story had a lot of emotions and story lines that brought back characters from past books in the series to The Sweetest Love. Adam had a a good career and Roxanna is just starting her life's journey with her new career. Once Adam and Roxanna reconnect, they find that their new found relationship will unexpectedly be tested as trust and misunderstandings plays a roll. While all this is unraveling, Roxanna, has her own past to deal with as surprises after surprises occurs. I love Roxanna and Adams relationship, it felt like a genuine romance that makes you fall in love with their love.

The best part of this story for me was to reconnect with a few favorites from past books, Karen and Starr. Also, the new found friendship of girlfriends that took shape between Jen, Sonia, Roxanna and Kay was exciting to read as I will assume there will and might be a story for each girl. For me personally, the author's stories are heartfelt and makes you feel like connecting with your own girlfriends and family, as well as chit chating about men.

This book in the series by Victoria Wells was good, but not as good as the first book about Summer and Nick, or the second book about Starr and Kevin, or the third book about Ava and Langston (the best one). It seems like with each story in the series the ending and the resolution is rushed and unsatisfying. In this story about Roxy and Adam, it just felt like the ending was too pat. They never even discussed the fact that Adam has some serious trust issues. He just told her he'd never do it again and she said okay. Not good enough for me. I really enjoy Victoria Wells' writing. I just hope she does not keep on shirking her fan base just to turn out the books so quickly. I'd rather wait for the quality ending that I know she can give rather than these wham bam thank you ma'am endings such as the one in this story.

WOW! Ms. Victoria Wells out does herself with her latest book...The Sweetest Love! This book is a true testament of what God meant when He tells us that "Love is Unconditional". While touching on subjects like death, abandonment, single parenthood, forgiveness and much more, the reality of how SWEET Love is spews off every page. With a strong hero, heroine, and a cast of awesome secondary characters, some we know from previous books and some that are new, addiction to read this book in one sitting will become a reality! Now, I could not end this review without telling you that it is the awesome, mother/daughter bond, and sisterly bond that is experienced in this book that will have you laughing and crying; however, Ms. Wells needed a disclaimer at the beginning of this book, encouraging its readers to not read without a tall glass of "ice" water and a fan in hand to prevent the possible "Heat Stroke" they may suffer while reading the passionate, and "HOT" love scenes between Adam and Roxy! Ms. Wells truly sticks to her brand with "The Sweetest Love," and I Highly Recommend this book to anyone looking to read a "HOT" romance with a touch of reality! Job well done Victoria!!!!!!
