This Bible is perfect for my 5 yr old who isn't ready for long, tedious stories straight from the real Bible. This Bible has simple story lines without adding dramatic effect or emotions. I especially like the "Sweet thought" section at the end of each story; it's a simple thought that even she can understand (and sometimes read too). A great story Bible for little girls! Pictures are fun to look at too!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Every adult in spiritual realms looks back 30 - 40 years and recalls the innocence of childhood's first encounter with God, morality, right and wrong, divine love, peace, holiness and deep truth. So it will be with Christian women of the future, in the mid 21st century and beyond, as they fondly recall this soft introduction to Biblical realities and the message of Jesus Christ, His disciples and followers and the men and women of the Old Testament who came before, including great female role models like Ruth, Queen Esther and Deborah leading an army. This is the sort of beginning volume that starts off a lifetime voyage of discovery of God the Father and His Son Jesus. Sheila Bailey's beautiful illustrations will always stick in the memory of readers many decades after they first set eyes on her marvellous artistry and the writing of Diane Storz is both simple and solid. This child's book is highly recommended and should be in the collection of every little girl as she begins the long process of getting to know and love God as she asks the vast questions that enthrall us all as we enter and then emerge from childhood. Sweet indeed, and will always be a treasure! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
