Meet the Author

John Little is considered one of the world's foremost authorities on Bruce Lee, his training methods, and philosophies. Little is the only person who has ever been authorized to review the entirety of Lee's personal notes, sketches, and reading annotations. Little's articles have appeared in every martial arts and health and fitness magazine in North America including Muscle and Fitness. He is the author of The Warrior Within: The Philosophies of Bruce Lee, and co-author of Power Factor Training, The Golfer's Two-Minute Workout, and Static Contraction Training for Bodybuilders.     More than a way of protection...

    This is a book that gives you the basis for Tao of JKD.Like any Bruce Lee script is an deep contemplation into the way of chinese martial art. People that know what being a true martial artist is, will appreciate this book and its philosophycal insight. It is a brief window to chinese way of thinking. The way that master Lee was so eager to show the world, if one can see beyong the punches and kicks...Is a way of living, the way of the warrior, it is simply gung fu.

    Tao of gung fu

    The book Bruce lee the tao of gung fu was a good book because Bruce Lee hiself teaches you how to protect yourself from dangerous people. Also the style is gung fu a weapon to becoming a great skill fighter. Bruce Lee is one of the best in teaching chinese martial art's. But Bruce Lee doesent want his learners to just be using the style on any body just use it when needed. Their is three types of gung fu you can learn but to do so you have to be very focus to learn step by step. I recomend the book to anybody because the book is so gooo d it teaches you more than just a book cover. on the other hand if you like a book that breaks things down for you than this is the right book to read. you learn stuff that you never heard befor thats how i know that this book was right for me and now im recomend this book to any body. I got to hand it to the person that wrote this book it was easy to read so i will tell my freinds to check this book out because they will learn something new.

    Very good but very brief!

    This is not as comprehensive as 'Tao of Jeet Kune Do' but has some interesting insights and rare photos of Bruce demonstrating principles.

    The JKD Primer

    What can you say about a book written by Bruce Lee. This one is great. It was the basis for the 'Tao of JKD'. Here he is talking about what he really knows, the way of Chinese martial Arts. This book covers the technical gung fu as well as the philosophy as seen through Mr. Lee's eyes. One of the all time greatest Martial Artist. The diagrams are in his own hand, with his own thoughts. So read his words himself, and get the info direct! You will not want to put this book down. And will read it, over and over again.
