When you are ready to release what is holding you back, this is the book to help you get there! Jessica Ortner is an amazing soul and The Tapping Solution is a true shining light in a sea of confusion where weight loss and body image are concerned! In her book, Jessica addresses what your extra weight is really about and gives you as the reader actionable (and easily doable) steps to effect healing within yourself and to make the shifts that you desire in your body, energy and life.  While Jessica didn't invent tapping, she brings the practice to readers in such a comfortable, safe way that they feel supported as they work their way through the book. Once you come to term with what has been holding you back, I’d recommend that you buy a copy of The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution which a friend who understands my struggle recommended. I originally bought that book a year ago but the responsibilities of being a mother, a wife and my own emotional baggage forced me to put it on the back burner, so to speak. Once I finished The Tapping Solution, it gave me the strength to revisit The Hungry Chick Solution and I am so glad that I did. The Hungry Chick Dieting Solution has become an investment in my good health. It has changed the way that I look at food and provided a fast, easy and doable way to lose some of my most stubborn, extra pounds. Without the emotional crutches that I rested on, I have been able to lose six pounds already. I thought it was a fluke at first, but my scale never lies. Six pounds has made my jeans fit looser. But without, Jessica, that wouldn’t have been possible.

This book show us how to feel good about our selves, let go of the stress in our lives and therefore look that belly fat that is truly caused by stress. When you tap through the stressful parts of your day, when you start the day and end the day with some tapping, suddenly you're not as stressed as you were before. Jessica has such a lovely way about her and she makes you feel like you're not doing this alone, she will guide you all the way. Please check is out and check her out and The Tapping Solution on YouTube, to see it, is worth 1,000 words to explain it! I just love her.

My plan was to read this book all the way through before I start tapping. I have learned so much so far I can't wait to get started tapping!!!

I was so skeptical. But I can feel my stress levels decreasing and my clothes fit differently. I am doing her online program also and I am not weighing until the end.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes the things you actively try to avoid end up being the things you really need in life? Usually these things stir up a lot of unsavory emotions…. they make you judgmental, but most importantly...they make you uncomfortable.  That’s how it was for me when I first heard about Jessica Ortner’s book, Tapping Solution for Weight Loss and Body Confidence. I first heard about this book through Gabrielle Bernstein’s newsletter, and to be honest, I thought it was a crock. I watched the video and the whole tapping process just seemed absolutely ridiculous to me. How could tapping help anyone with anything??….I felt like a catcher at the baseball mound randomly signaling a pitcher. I didn’t complete the video in the newsletter and immediately deleted it, it just didn’t resonate with me.  The universe, however, kept putting this book in my path. It was at Barnes and Nobel when I randomly turned a corner, it was in my Facebook feed, and when Hay House gave me an opportunity to read it in exchange for an interview, I listened to the universe’s prompting and went for it.  While tapping still makes me feel silly, I’m definitely seeing a benefit to it. I’m a healthy weight, but like many people, I do deal with some unhealthy habits. At the end of the day, when my husband puts our daughter to bed, I more often than not find myself in the pantry looking for snacks…I’m emotionally eating to relieve the stress of the day. IT’s not something I’m proud of or even something that I even initially realized was emotional eating. This book has helped me tackle that and I’m continuing work through it.  This book is geared towards women, but I have mentioned the methods to my husband to look into to help with stress relief from his job. I’m not a tapping master, but I’m grateful for this book for giving me some pointers to help me deal with some very unhealthy habits. I definitely recommend it for anyone who battles with emotional eating issues….which is just about everyone!
