LEARN HOW TO DO MEANINGFUL, ACCURATE READINGS FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS

From the author of Tarot Made Easy %151; a fresh, exciting way to learn the tarot and become a confident and skilled tarot card reader. Utilizing a workbook format, this book provides a three-step program for learning the tarot that incorporates your personal observations and experiences:

It's as easy as one, two, three! In addition to interpreting the symbols, numbers and astrological associations, the workbook also includes meditations, fifteen specific categories such as love, work, family and finances, and exercises to increase your awareness, intuition and spirituality.

Unlike other books that venture into complex metaphysical concepts or simply repeat what other authors have said, The Tarot According to You encourages you to embrace your own insights and ideas and puts the final say in your hands, transforming generic definitions into highly charged personal revelations. By letting go of strictly defined or memorized interpretations and trusting your own impressions and definitions, you will turn the ancient art of tarot into a powerful, self-affirming tool.

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned practitioner, The Tarot According to You is a book that will stand out among your favorites as a unique addition to your study of the tarot.

Advocate Online
This workbook provides a structured way to prime the subconscious pump that makes the connections between symbol and meaning. This approach isn't for everyone some people might prefer more traditional methods of learning and reading these cards. The title is accurate, however, and anyone who'd like to make tarot more accessible, more relevant or more personal will find in this book a way to do that.

What Is the Tarot?

The Tarot, or Royal Road, as the ancients referred to it, is a method for discerning the essential truths of life.

It is widely believed that Egyptian Masons developed Tarot cards (which were originally tablets) as a means of charting their spiritual, psychological and physiological discoveries. Over the centuries, as various countries and cultures translated these tablets, many new Tarot decks (and interpretations) came into being. Each one, due to distinctions in religion, philosophy and belief system, differed from the other.

In essence, Tarot cards are stories conveyed in pictures. Think of them as a symbolic history of events, which, when properly interpreted, can be used to foretell or guide an individual's future. But of themselves, they have no inherent powers. What makes the Tarot accurate, unique and profound is you!

What Are the Advantages of Doing a Tarot Workbook?

I believe that the only way to really understand the Tarot is to live it experientially. Other people's interpretations (including mine) simply aren't enough. As insightful as they seem, until you experience a card personally, it will never be exactly right.

One of the most enlightening and transformational journeys I ever undertook was when I decided to travel the "Royal Road" and make my own Tarot deck.

Much more than the mere mechanical production of a set of cards, journaling about my Tarot experience on a day-to-day basis increased my awareness in every area of my life: work, love, the people I was involved with and what I was doing on the planet in the first place. It was as if I had tapped into an Akashic record that allowed me to peek between the veils of secrecy and understand the inner workings of God, his works and his children.

When I was working with a Court card, I found that I knew what it felt like to be a different astrological sign than I am because I literally experienced it as if I were that sign.

As I explored the Suits (Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles) I realized firsthand the essence of their meaning, from the beginning or inception of an idea (Wands) to the completion and/or manifestation of that idea (Pentacles).

When my card was a Major Arcana, I always felt that a power greater than myself was steering my course and that I was gaining insights that not only helped me move beyond my personal limitations, but deal with the world more effectively.

In short, living the Tarot made such a difference in my life and my ability to accurately read for others that I couldn't wait to share the process with you.

Through The Tarot According to You, you will be able to re-create the same enlightening journey that I embarked upon, and I believe that as you walk the Royal Road, your increased perceptions, clarity and confidence will not only provide a means of guidance for your future, but a life-changing transformation as well.

How is this possible? It's as simple as pulling a card and then jotting down your observations and experiences. I've established some guidelines to help you get started, but believe me, like the river, it flows by itself!

Another advantage of this process is that you learn by doing. You are actually creating new pathways and you're teaching yourself as you go along. But don't worry, you are not alone in this. God, your Higher Self, Higher Power, Guardian Angel or whatever you choose to call It will be right there beside you. You may not be aware of it now, but I promise you that by the time you've completed this workbook, Its loving presence will make Itself known. In The Tarot According to You you will have answers that are tailored to your life, interpretations that address your needs and insights that speak to your soul.

If you ever wished that you could really learn the Tarot, do readings for yourself and others or be more in touch with your inner guidance, this book is for you.
