These recipes "to fit your lifestyle" are dispersed throughout the sections, including "Fruit," "Vegetables," "Eggs and Cheese," and "Yeast Breads." A "Wingin' It" four-way recipe features Spicy Hot Wings, Barbecue Wings, Mini Chicken Kebabs, and Peachy Chicken Wings. Many of the recipes in this basic source are identical to the previous edition. The latest version is recommended for public libraries that need an additional copy or do not have the earlier edition.

    The last cookbook you'll ever need!

    I have recently taken an interest to cooking and needed a guide on helping me learn. I knew nothing when I started only how to boil eggs. Whenever I told family members I was going to cook they always made excuses on why they couldn't come over. I came across this book and fell in love! It's a comprehensive guide to everything! Kitchen basics such as measuring techniques & equivalents, kitchen cutlery, how to fry, braise, steam, chop, choosing cookware, bake-ware, cutlery, food safety & storage. It even educates you on spices.

    This book is genius! Each section is a new tab: Kitchen basics, Appetizers & beverages, Soups & sandwiches, Beef & veal, Pork & lamb, Poultry, Seafood, Eggs & cheese, Pasta,Grains & Beans, Vegetables, Fruit, Salads & Salad dressings, Sauces & condiments, Quick breads, Yeast breads, Pies & tarts, Cakes, Desserts, Cookies & Bars, Candies and lastly the index. The best part is you can make recipes 4 ways: classic, time-saver, light or serves 2.

    Since getting this book I've become a gourmet chef! The recipes are so simple to follow and so much fun to make. Best of all they are all delicious! My fiance calls me every night before work ends and asks "whats for dinner?" and is always pleasantly surprised! I have gained so much experience and confidence with cooking now that I'm even brave enough to bake :). I've made 30+ recipes so far and will never get bored it has 1,395 recipes! My family is always over now to eat; it's hilarious and my younger sister calls me every day for a recipe she can make for her boyfriend! The illustrations are beautiful color photos and definitely give you a glimpse of what your dish will look like. This would make an excellent gift for newlyweds, homeowners or someone that would just like a handy guide. I'm gonna buy a couple more for my sisters for Christmas gifts. This book is a treasured investment that you'll hold onto for years to come!

    Make room for this cooking book in your kitchen!

    This cooking book is very straighforeword and very easy to use! Also i love the illustrations and how the images depict the meal so you can get an idea of what the food you are making looks like.I also love how the use of this book is very versatile especially in: in table setting,measurements,types of meats, cheeses,fruits,sauces,and so on and i take my hats off to the LADIES and men:) that contributed to this cookbook! I RECOMMEND this book to anyone

    Excellent Book, especially for the beginner chef.

    The book layout is helpful, and provides a large variety of recipes and ideas for meal preparation. I will be giving this book as a gift for my 3 daughters and possibily for shower gifts for newer homemakers. There are some great recipe for everyday meals.

    Tast of Home Cookbook

    Have always loved Tast of Home publications. Gave this as a gift. The only thing I would consider less than perfect is the weight of the book. But then, how would they capture all those delicious recipes in one book?
