Oh my God. I understand the author was trying to get into the characters and have the dialogue sound like stereotypical gang members/thugs, at least I think that's what the author was aiming for... But because of the POVs and stereotype specific dialogues used this book is very poorly written, I only made it up to chapter 3 before feeling like my IQ was decreasing. It was shocking.

This story was not really that good and it had many spelling and grammar errors. I guess that's what you get in return for paying $0.99 though.

The Teflon Queen This book is sooooooooo bad.   Pros --Only one of the characters, among the worst, has one of many, many sexual encounters in which he pulls out a condom.  I was shocked at the level of responsibility in a book of such irresponsible behavior.   --The author got me good with the identity of one of the characters.  Never saw it coming.   --The author has written about 8 other books.  I’m impressed with his perseverance.  Cons --In reality, this book very much reads as pornography as much as it reads about anything else.  He could take some lessons from early Eric Jerome Dickey’s books—that man KNEW how to write a sex scene AND a love scene.  Now, he writes pornography with a story line alongside it.  It’s disappointing and a turn off.  I no longer read his books.   --This book is bad and wrong on so many levels I can hardly count the ways:  Grammar (e.g., there for their possessive), punctuation, spelling, repetitiveness, overstating the abundantly obvious, .... If his books are encouraging “goons” to read about themselves, to read about their lives, to read AT ALL, then that’s not just a good thing, it’s a great positive.  I would only hope that the author would show them, encourage them how to be better—and more—than they are.

The plot was very good, and I was sucked in but I kept getting jolted by misspelled words and poor execution of grammar. I also know that this is an ethnic book, but the vulgar sexual terms also took me out of it. As an ethnic woman myself, metaphors could go a long away and give the author creative credits when describing sex scenes. Good start, just have someone proofread your work before making it public next time.

I normally read a complete book even if I am not crazy about it. This one was so bad that I gave up less than half way through. If you like trash talk and lots of gory killings, you might think this worth reading but the subject matter just is not my cup of tea.

I was excited about the concept but after the first chapter i skimmed. To me this was gangsta rap in a book, totally misogynistic, stereotypical, predictable. I won't read more.

I guess if the description is filled grammatical errors, then I should probably not have high expections for the book itself. I wasn't disappointed. This was a free book, but I still paid too much. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS. I gave this one star because it wouldn't let me post without giving an overall rating or I would have given it a negative star.

Please, please, please stop giving this book away. I have never read a book that was so poorly written. There was absolutely nothing worth reading in this book. This book was full of spelling and grammatical errors. Absolutely no character development. A totally waste of time.

No editing at all. The author can't write a proper sentence. I never got past chapter 2. Just awful.

This books keeps you in the street from start to finish. I had to purchase Part 2 immediately to see what is going to happen with the characters. There are a few errors in the text, but overall a good book. Drugs, guns, hustlers, killers, etc.

I'd be lying if I told you this was not entertaining. It was. Despite some very bad grammar and numerous typos, the author kept me interested. Some characters were written very poorly but others were pretty good. I'm hoping the 2nd book has an actual proofreader cause there is a solid foundation here.

I have never reviewed any book as most times you will find something you can like about it, but this book was not likeable in any way. Language, characters, situations nothing redeeming about it at all. Did not give it any star unless there is a minus star.

I hardly ever finish a book I just don't like, but I finished this one and still don't understand why. This one is poorly written, and there are a lot of grammatical errors thorugout. It was hard for me to really get into the characters because the book was just too choppy. And of course this is part of a series I will not read. Sorry, but this one was not good for me.
