Another book that was difficult to put down. A fantastic follow-on to the first book. The author has a way of leading you into the story and keeping you there. Can not wait to read the next five in the series.

Mr. Thompson has bettered his first. I did not want to put this installment of the Sol Chronicles down. I enjoyed the love story in the midst of the trouble that befell the venusians, and the savior being the 'diamond in the rough' young man in Rand. Then, towards the end of the book, we get a taste of what may have been the beginning of the norse religion and their legends on Terra. I truly look forward to the next book, and then to discover what happens to all three settlements. A great compliment to the Final Solician.

Having read the Final Solician, my curiosity was peaked. This one left me wondering what was next. Having picked it up, I lost sleep reading it, because I couldn't put it down. The Final Solician revealed the authors bent for the surreal. This one reveals Donald has an imagination that is working overtime in overdrive. For pure fun reading, this is a winner.

Another great Love story in a SciFi setting. If You liked "The Final Solician" then you are going to love "The Telpin Man" 2 books on Mercury and Venus. Will the next one stay true to form and be about Earth?

I enjoyed The Telpin Man very much. It was a great continuation of the first book in this series. It held my interest all the way through it with a lot of enteresting characters and a great story.

Donald D. Thompson's 2nd installment of his Sol Chronicles is every bit as good - if not even better - than his 1st. The Telpin Man is an excellent book on its own but the backdrop provided by The Final Solician must be appreciated by any serious fan. I am looking forward to more of The Sol Chronicles. My only hope is that the next one will be as entertaining as the first two.
