The story captures you from the beginning. The language and style reminds me of Persuasion. The story draws you into each character and the interweaving of their faith journey is very realistic. I enjoyed every minute if this delightful story. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This is a sweet Regency set historical featuring a hero who lost and arm in the Napoleonic Wars and a flirty young lady whose family fell upon had times and suffered a loss in reputation. The plot is believable and nicely paced. I love stories featuring naval and army men who fought in the Napoleonic Wars and somehow missed the heroine's sister's story that preceeded this one. I enjoyed this book so much that I plan to read the linked book that I missed in this series, which also features a wounded army veteran. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
