    He loves me!

Ron describes a God of lovingkindness, a tender Father who created a framework for our lives that they may contain all of the Joy He intended for us. Like a cool drink of water in the desert of life, Ron's perspective is refreshing. Without the framework of God's commands, our lives "would not hold water": Joy, like water, has no shape of its own and would run out the holes the moment it is no longer contained. A magnificent inspiration for all Christians.

Required reading for every parent and teenager.

I believe the author says it all in his dedication of this book. 'I feel honored to dedicate this book to the men and women I have esteemed in the faith and hold in highest regard. Their lives have modeled for me God's tender commandments in so many ways. Some of them were missionaries and pastors, and some were my Sunday school teachers. Their passion for souls, uncommon lives, and commitment to communicating the gospel of Christ have profoundly shaped my life. They have shown me that daily strength comes from daily prayer and that if you'll obey God's commands and do the possible, He will do the impossible. I feel privileged to honor these beloved saints of the cross.' I can relate to the above, in my life, in the Sunday school teachers, ministers, school principals and parents that I had. This book brings back many memories that I have over my seventy-one years. My twenty-six years served in the military, WW II, January 1944-1945, and again l950-1971 is an example of following role models from my past, especially my parents. How could this country remove Bible reading from our schools? Ron Mehl's book would have been a great book for issue to each person in the military then and now. It should be required reading for the Supreme Court. We have done a disservice to the young people of this nation by not following God and our forefathers over the years. Will we ever learn? Read the book and see what we have missed over the years.
