Overview

In 1974, a low-budget, no-star horror movie was unleashed on the world, causing panic among the censors and provoking glee from its intended audience. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is still as powerful today as when it was first seen almost thirty years ago, and will return to the screens in a high profile remake this Halloween. Now, in this long-awaited companion to Tobe Hooper's groundbreaking film, Stefan Jaworzyn gives us the inside story of one of the most successful, controversial and influential horror films ever made, as well as in-depth coverage of the three sequels, various documentaries and other movies also based on the life of serial killer Ed Gein. Packed with exclusive interviews, rare and unseen pictures, and with a foreword from the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface himself, Gunnar Hansen!

When you put a book up for a reader to preview the book you should let them read atleast the first chapter. In this preview all that you can read is the About the Author. That doesnt even help me see what the book is about. I want to read atleast the first chapter to see if i would like to book. Right now im thinking that maybe i shouldnt buy this whole book. Ill think about it but im not sure about it. Barnes and Noble i thibk yoi need to fix that so that i and others can read the first chapter to see if we will read the book or not.

Excellant book for one of the greatest horror movies ever. I like the original and part two best, but it's wonderful to see the awesome R. Lee Ermy in chainsaw movies. Haven't seen the new one yet but I am buying it tomorrow.

A very gory and violent book with 50 other features and a great weapon of choice. Good job Mr.Leather face! You are going down in history and your taking those innocent people with you!

I personaly feel bad for Leatherface. It makes me sad how he was laughed at. I almost died when I learned they were making a sequal. I just have to get it!

I absolutely loved the movie. If you enjoyed it as much as me i'm sure you went out and looked for the true story. I still havent read the story but i hope to find it. As i go onto the site the music makes me cry. I think of people who were brutally killed alive!!!
