This book will overturn what you may have learned in school about the relationships between the native American indians and the early settlors. The reality is much different from the accepted narrative. Dr. Preston has delved into areas that have not been adequately addressed in the past. His research is deep and well presented. To be honest, parts of the book are a bit repetitive and it is not a novel. It is a scholarly tome. But it is well worth your time to read it if you are interested in early American history. I think you will find it quite fascinating. I did.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
