Overview

Think Bigger. About Who You Are. And What You Offer the World.

Stand for something before someone stands on you. Revolt against the play-it-safe, don't disturb the peace, cynical and silenced society that, more often than not, buries big thoughts.

Michael Port, bestselling author and creator of ThinkBigRevolution.com, knows it's not always easy to think big. But big thinking must happen now; today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

At this very moment, you are the change you want to see in the world—should you choose to accept personal responsibility. Devour every word of The Think Big Manifesto. It is the handbook to your personal revolution.

You are more than you know. And you can do more with less than you think...

  • Unhook from the guru track
  • Learn how to be comfortable with discomfort
  • Join people doing powerful things
  • Be one of the big thinkers that others rave about

This book, and life, is not a conceptual, theoretical experiment in how to do big things. No, this is just what you need if you're on, or want to be on, the path to doing big things and are willing to invest in your future.

Join or incite a worldwide revolution that inspires others to follow. All it takes is one big thought and the revolution is unleashed. One thought, one person at a time, quickly followed by another—soon big thinking becomes the norm. Your big thoughts enable you to achieve greatness, be remarkable, and create a better world.

Are you a member of the Think Big Revolution? If so, this is your Manifesto.

    I Also Recommend:

A book for your bedside, your car, your office, your coffee table, your computer bag....,

"Leap and the net will appear." I have a metal sculpture hanging at eye level above my desk that says that. And it's the first thing I thought of as I started reading The Think Big Manifesto. Just like Michael does in person, this book reminds us that thinking big is the way for positive change--in our lives and in the world at large.

In this book, Michael continues to do what he has done in his previous books: He makes me think. About how I express myself in the world. About how I can go even bigger in my life. About how I can carry that big thinking through to my clients, family, and friends.

I suggest buying multiple copies of The Think Big Manifesto, and planting them in strategic places--nightstand, coffee table, car, kitchen counter, computer bag. Anywhere that the book can be taken out, opened at random, and read, to serve as a daily and ongoing reminder that each one of us CAN change the world--by pushing our thinking out and Out and OUT!!!

I'm completely taken - read this book!

I've read Michael Port's business books - and expected more of the same. But NO - this book really moved me in ways I did not expect. The Think Big Manifesto is so compelling because it's so personal, so real. By examples, stories and excellent quotes Michael took me from a passive reader to actually taking action, joining the big - and starting my own personal - revolution. It's all done in a non-guru, no-BS way.

Thinking big is now my new personal day-to-day goal - something to aspire to for me veery single day. I feel better about myself after reading this book and taken action on it, and I hope to be an positive influence on the people I'm touching . Thank you!

    Sorry, This Book Sucks

I return very few books to B&N - and buy several every month. But I brought this back a few hours after getting it home. The cover is much better than this book.

In fact, read the cover, and you've read everything of value in the entire book.

    Needing some solid info

While I applaud the author's positive thinking and encouragement, I found there was very little actual help in this self-help book. It was a very broad (too broad) and general book. There was very little here that I have not read in other publications. I found myself wading through chapters, trying to get to something solid - an action plan, specifics, and goal setting activities. A great premise - but not carried through. And CERTAINLY not worth the $20 plus it cost me.

What got you here won't get you there!

We are living in tumultuous times and most of us are going through life at a dizzying pace. The Think Big Manifesto is a book that will stop you dead in your tracks and make you question how you're living, what you're doing and what you stand for. Life is too short to think small, and Michael Port challenges us, even dares us, to think bigger about who we are and what we offer the world. He reminds us that change begins with us and that lip service won't cut it anymore. You've got to think big to live big - why would you want to live any other way? If you're waiting for a wake up call on doing great things in your life, the Think Big Manifesto is it.

A wake-up call for our times!

In an era where people are scared and disillusioned, "The Think Big Manifesto" is a wake-up call for right now. What I specifically like about this book is that it does not offer solutions, rather it makes the case that it is up to me to BE the solution (just like in the famous Gandhi quote "Be the change you wish to see in the world"). Practical and punchy examples of people who think big and act big motivate me to reframe my ideas of what is possible. I appreciate Michel's candor about his own challenges around Big Thinking. After reading the book from cover to cover in one sitting (it is a quick read), I find myself adopting a daily habit: opening it to a random page to put me in the right frame of mind to start the day. This is a book to read, underline, scribble in the margins, fold the page corners, to adopt and to give to everyone you care about. The world needs more Big Thinkers and Michael's message will help you become one!

Excellent and Timely Call to Action

Port's 'Thing Big Manifesto' is a call to arms for those of us with a desire to move into excellence and a richer life. He clearly, and with energy and infectious / compelling voice, declares an end to small thinking. This is no easy task given the turbulent times we are experiencing right now. My key take-away from reading this (and the current post-it sitting on my computer staring at me): You are more than you know. And you can do more with less than you think." What I like about Port's 'Manifesto' is that it is a call to action (not a sugar coated feel good inspirational read). This is a call to action and the results will be big.
