The Third Wrong
Evil raises its ugly head in beautiful North Idaho when young Timmy Howland disappears. As Nez Perce County Prosecutor, Chase Hamilton, and Detective Dale Horne pursue justice on behalf of the boy’s family, the trail of evil wends its way to a startling conclusion that some will find disturbing while others will be left cheering.

The inner workings of the criminal justice system are portrayed, warts and all, from the perspective of both the prosecution and the defense by a trial lawyer with four decades of courtroom experience. As the story unfolds, a subtle love story peeks in from time to time, as do glimpses of the splendor of the Palouse, the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, and Clearwater River country.

Educated at the University of North Dakota and the University of Caifornia Hastings College of the Law, the author has been a trial lawyer for more than four decades, earning fellowship in the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1993. He lives with his college sweetheart and wife (yes, they are the same person) in Bakersfield California. He is an avid fly fisherman, tying his own flies and building his own rods.
