The Three Little Pigs is a fable featuring anthropomorphic pigs who build three houses of different materials. A big bad wolf is able to blow down the first two pigs' houses, made of straw and wood respectively, but is unable to destroy the third pig's house, made of bricks. Printed versions date back to the 1840s, but the story itself is thought to be much older.

I love the story of the three little pigs, but this one is horable and scared my three year old! Its kind of dark and not the version I remember.

Since this version doesn't add much to the basic story, you would hope to enjoy the charming illustrations. Unfortunately, this version renders them small and often on the wrong pages from the accompanying text. Hard to enjoy with my young son. (Nook Color)

*takes out a crowbar and slams the blunt end into Paws' stomach, hooking it back on the belt loop of her ripped shorts* And I happen to be the bull. *walks away, twirling the crowbar*
