The Three Lives of Kamala is a cultural gateway into the classical world of Medieval India. Inside this gateway, the high god, Lord Shiva, worries about the growing danger of a general war. Bikshu reveals "Shiva's instruction" to Raju that he must follow for both stories to end happily. It is a heavy responsibility as Raju faces several temptations.
