    Great Reference Work

Got this from B&N for a great price. They were the only ones who had it available. This is a great book if you want an fairly complete, unbiased, objective, and accurate reference work on the Stooges. Contains a great deal of information on everything the team ever worked on, from not only their shorts, but the comic books, the TV appearances, the personal appearances, and what was going on in their lives before the name 'Three Stooges' was even dreamt about. Everyone who was ever a Stooge is bio'ed, and interesting information is provided on those who worked with the Stooges, such as Emil Sitka, Bud Jamison, and Vernon Dent. I found the information on Curly to be new and very enlightening, and supports the notion that Curly was probably one of the greatest, most inventive comics of the 20th century, certainly the most inspired and hilarious of all the Stooges. I highly recommend this book for anyone, not just 'Stoogemaniacs.'
