    Vocational Case Manager's Dream Text.

If you have not purchased, 'The Thrill of the Hunt: Get Real in Your Job Search' you are probably not working as smart as you could. I have recently purchased (6) copies to hand out to some of my clients who are looking for work. This is a well written 'how to' book that gets results. It is very innovative. It will likely be the only job search book you will need in your library. I highly recommend this book to vocational rehabilitation and job search professionals. It is making my job much more productive.

    What 'Thrill'?

It may be thrilling to many but when you need to find a job it is heart wrenching when you have been unemployed for 5 months. However, this book eases the pain and provides an excellent reference on how to find the kind of work you want to do. Not just a 'job', but a position that works for you and the employer. No sending resumes off blindly; avoiding job boards; none of the current technology approaches really work as well as expected. Reach out and learn how to talk to people that are the decision makers on whom they want to hire so they'll hire you. It worked for me! Kathy says she was a recruiter and shares her techniques that work. This book helps you to understand the process and what it takes to land a job in today¿s market. It is all about selling your self and talking to the right people to find the job you really want.
