    I more than highly recommend this book. It is a must for everyone even people who do not have a thyroid problem.

    Dr Arem's diet is just incredible!! I was up ever since it appeared on my nook in the early morning hours reading it. It make sense, it is easy to follow, and I know first hand it works and success is met where so many diets fail.
    The diet has so many choices to it and the recipes seem just wonderful!!!
    Everyone with or without a thyroid problem should own this book!!

    There's nothing in this book about goitergenci foods... in fact,

    There's nothing in this book about goitergenci foods... in fact, the 'cleansing' detox smoothie includes raw kale AND strawberries. The smoothie is to be enjoyed daily, however, folks with hypothroid should eat these two items in moderation. Nothing about the dangers of soy either. I had to double-check the publishing date, because it seemed strange that neither of the things were mentioned.

Then the second half is all diet and exercise, with amazing recipes, and great workout tips that are easy for an average person to do. These aren't P90X exercises, anybody can do them and benefit. and the photo demonstrations are great!

    This is a non-diabetic diet that is great for us diabetics! I was skeptical when my Aunt gave me this book. Being diabetic, it's hard to find diet plans that work, but this one has real science behind it, explaining every step of the way why I should be eating what I'm eating, and why as a diabetic, it's better for me.

    This book is so full of information, stuff I never even thought about. This is so much more than a simple diet book. Don't let the title mislead you, this isn't a diet, it's a life change!

    I honestly don't think I would have understood half the science

    I honestly don't think I would have understood half the science in this book if it weren't so well and clearly written.

    He's got this one bit about antioxidants. I mean, of course I'd heard of them, and that they're good for you, but I didn't truly understand what they do for your body until I read this. And it's great, because after every explanation, he has lists of foods that contain what he's talking about, so it's easy to implement as well!

    I'm really amazed at how well the author takes complicated medical issues and breaks them down in lay terms. I'm not sure I would have understood many of these concepts otherwise. The book is full of so much information. It's not just some basic diet plan (i.e. eat this, not that, etc.) It has extensive details on what to eat, when and how. Oh...and WHY. It actually explains the science behind it. This book completely fascinated me! I can't wait to try the recipes...Quinoa pizza? Sounds interesting.

    Obviously this isn't the first diet of this type to come along, but I've never had the how and the why explained to me so clearly! This book has helped me to understand WHY what I was eating wasn't helping me any, and HOW I could go about making minor changes to lead a healthy life.
