The Tide Is Turning

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Ron Wynn
A decent album, even though it lacked Millie Jackson's customary fire and soulfulness. Things got tougher for Jackson and all artists with any connections to past eras in the late '80s. Jackson tried to update her sound and retain her vocal character, and was mostly successful in the effort. But it wasn't reflected in sales of the album or any of its singles.
