Something has gone wrong with an historical timeline, causing a famous painting to disappear from the world’s conscious memory, surfacing only in people’s dreams. However, the past holds many pitfalls, both dangerous and romantic, that Cassandra must stay clear of, while trying to prevent Jake falling prey to them as well. Renaissance Romance

I normally don't enjoy fiction, but there is so much historical fact in the Tiime Contessa that it made me feel like I was there. In fact, I lived in this glorious region of Italy and imagined myself there as the sensual events of the period unfolded.
I was happy to read the 3rd installation of Young-Ellis' story of a time-travelling scientist with a hunger for romance.
Pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy the Time Contessa.

The Time Contessa is the third book in this series, and I highly recommend all three.  Every time I finish one of these books, I feel like I've lost a good friend.  The Time Contessa, like the previous two books, is artfully and skillfully written and is sure to please reading fans of time travel, adventure, and romance.   It provides such vivid and detailed descriptions of the Renaissance era in Tuscany mixed with an inventive, futuristic look at life in the twenty-second century.  I am sincerely hoping that there will be many more books in this series.  I am very grateful to Georgina Young-Ellis for sharing her imagination and creativity.

This is an amazing series. Completely believable down to the smallest detail. Dr. Cassandra Reilly is the perfect heroine and a brilliant problem solver. Author Georgina Young-Ellis has outdone herself this time. How she conceived of a painting, a work of art, unfinished because of a break in the timeline boggles my mind. I felt as if I were a part of 15th Century Italy. This series gets better and better. Highly recommended.

Georgina Young-Ellis has given us a special view into the future

Georgina Young-Ellis has given us a special view into the future and past, a way to appreciate the value of time. This series has taken the reader into Austen's England, New England in the time when Abolitionism was fighting for ascendancy, and now into the post-Dantean Renaissance and high art of Siena, Italy. Historical accuracy and mastery of dialog combines with the charms of a science fiction premise that allows for the touching and powerful romance -- all the ingredients of a great read. Each volume holds delightful characters and is tremendously satisfying in itself, yet the reader also cannot wait to see where fate (if such a word may be used in a world of alternate realities) will lead Dr. Cassandra Reilly and her skilled team of time-travelers next.
