If you read historical non-fiction or ficton and want to verify dates or get and idea of what else was happening during a certain year this is a great help.

This book is great - it tells you everything important that happens and goes *year by year!* I have the 1978 version and even that is good. Now, with the new version, you get almost twelve more years of history. This is a must-have for any person who likes history!
