Meet the Author

Carol Culver Rzadkiewicz is a native of Fairburn, Georgia, a small town southwest of Atlanta, but she now resides in Lafayette, Louisiana in "The Heart of Cajun Country," with her husband, Chet, who is a history professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and their three animal companions.

An online instructor for the University of Phoenix, Carol is also a freelance writer, blogger, and author. Her short stories have appeared in periodicals such as Santa Fe Writers Project Literary Journal, South Lit, Toasted Cheese, The New Review, and The Eclectic. Her novels, at least to date, include Mustang Summer, Objects Are Closer than They Appear, and Separate but Equal. She also recently published a horror novella, The Dark Woods, and she is currently working on a mystery/suspense novel, which she hopes to see published in the near future

An outdoor enthusiast, when she isn't teaching or writing, Carol enjoys bicycling, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and gardening.

    This is a wonderful collection of stories. There is something for everyone, and the writing is superb. Some of the stories make you laugh, others make you cry, but they all make you think, and how many stories today can do that?
