Accommodation is in valley hotels or gîtes, or in mountain refuges set in idyllic locations. The route is divided into 10 stages, but with suggestions for a 13-day itinerary and alternative stages are also described. Full accommodation details are given along with background information on how to get there, what to take, mountain safety, and notes on the flora and fauna of the region. All illustrated with colour sketch maps and photographs.

Meet the Author

Kev Reynolds is a freelance writer, photojournalist and lecturer. A prolific compiler of guidebooks, his first title for Cicerone Press appeared in 1978; he has since produced 27 titles for Cicerone, with others being researched.     A little pond lays in the middle of nowhere. The pound is about 5 tail lengths wide to either side. And 1 tail length deep. Around the pond grows Yarrow, Catnip, and Horsetail.
