Loved it! If you are a creepy horror fan this book is for you. First book on a long time to give me chills. I look forward to reading more by this author.

When you're ready for a truly horrifying read, check out The Trail - the first book by Brian Francis. Get ready to turn down the lights, curl up at night and get the adrenaline flowing with this well written, engaging, and truly gruesome account of a college reunion camping trip gone horribly wrong! The action starts right away and you find yourself hard-pressed to put the book down. I enjoyed this book thoroughly and recommend you pick it up right away. The man in the red shirt is frightening, and the author has a knack for describing everything as if you were right there - your heart starts racing, you feel sweat on your brow, and you're constantly looking around to make sure your safe - even in your own home!

Brian Francis is a seriously gifted writer. The chapter-by-chapter plot twists in "The Trail" left me by turns too scared to continue reading and too intrigued not to. Can't wait to see what he has in store for us next!
