    Library Journal

This striking guide is divided geographically, from Canada through the United States and into Mexico. Dailey (Drive Around Ireland) includes "Fact Files," overviews of climate, lodging options, and must-do activities. Dailey's lively prose communicates the excitement of her own locale-related experience. Though not comprehensive, the book features predictable attractions like Las Vegas. Surprises do include Natchez Trace Parkway. Still, places like Virginia's Tidewater region are absent. It's slightly disappointing that only two Mexican and six Canadian sites made the cut.
