    Great scuba treasure hunt novel

The story of a marine archeologist who goes in search of a sunken pirate ship loaded with treasures. The background info was believable and intriguing. I loved the group of characters that helped her along the way. There was adventure, a little mystery to be solved and just enough romance. A great debut novel for Kathleen Harrison. I can't wait to read her next one!

    Great scuba fiction!

I couldn't put this book down! It hooked me from the very beginning. I love to scuba dive and have been looking for a fictional book about diving for a long time. The Treasure was intriguing, adventurous and a little romantic. I could see the dive (and happy hour) scenes vividly. I began to wish I was on that beautiful island having all that fun. It made me want to book a dive avcation. It's a great read by an up and coming author!

Fills the void on fictional scuba diving novels.

Consumed by a passion for scuba diving and the legend of a long lost pirate ship, Kit Baldwin, a marine archeology professor, embarks on a journey to discover treasure. She encounters several colorful characters along the way, each with their own charm and distinct relationship with Kit. She falls for Mike, the local dive shop owner, despite her best intentions to stay focussed, and I could actually feel her internal struggle as she wrestled with her feelings. Being a diver myself, I could visualize the coral reefs, ancient shipwrecks and mysterious caverns that she explored and I felt the anticipation and frustration that she encountered at different twists and turns in the novel. It's nice for a change to have an entertaining, 'feel good' adventure novel about scuba diving.
