Greenwald's Triangle Fire, despite its extensive bibliographic and reference sources, rehashes history but is ahistorical. This book fails to place the Triangle Fire within the context of working class struggles, and ultimately uses liberal dogma to advance an argument on the origins of the Triangle Fire. So much is written on this subject but this book provides scant evidence of the historical backdrop and perfunctory conclusions that does not situate the struggle for workplace rights within an overall workers movement.
