This is one of the best movie soundtracks EVER

An offbeat soundtrack from an offbeat film, "Triplets of Belleville" is a gem of a CD that pays tribute to the myriad of musical styles from which it draws. Swing, rock 'n' roll, percussion and other genres all contribute to a listening experience that, quite simply, is pure fun. Whether the soundtrack achieves this independent of the film, I don't know; but everyone should check the movie out *anyway* as it is an amazing piece of cinema.

    Something for everybody!

After seeing this movie, I thought had to purchase the CD to get the music out of my head. Instead of eradicating it, the beautiful score is mine to enjoy at any time now. If you like music (if not, why are you in the music section of Barnes & Noble?) then you will love this album. It has jazz, blues, dance, and dining music, even what sounds like a song performed by Elvis...had he been French. The only people who will not find this upbeat and entertaining are those whose taste does not escape hate music and gangsta rap.
