This book was a great mix of romance and comedy! I actually laughed out loud. Tali was such a relatable character in some ways that it really made me enjoy the story. Her tally of romantic fantasies was my favorite part because I can see myself doing that! Her love interest was funny and the ending wrapped up in a hilarious way! (What Graham thought is sooo funny!) I highly recommend this book!

Like reading a 600 page story in Cosmo, Sex in the City and In Style combined, Funny and real, lots of American city culture, it feels like Talisman could be older than 25,5 - A fun read for Women of all ages

More psycho babble than story, and funny? Not! Maybe it's me, not you, but there seemed to be a lot of effort put into trying to be funny, but for me, it mostly missed the mark. Not sure I'll try book 2.

The beginning of the story was awfully hard for me to jump in to, but boy am I glad I did! This story showed the truth in sacrifices, commitment, and loyalty. It also gives the love story fantasy a jumpstart. The author is a wonderful descriptor and has a massive vocaublary and phsycological knowledge. Wonderful book by a wonderful author!

I found this book to be a bit slow. Just an OK read.

As a Red Sox fan, I was thrilled to read the synopsis of this book. Alas, like watching my beloved Sox, how quickly that excitement turned to disappointment. Talisman is not strong female protagonist. Her disorganization, which the reader is supposed to see as "quirky", negates any essence of believability. I was unable to finish the book because of this disconnect.
