Overview

After being attacked by a pack of werewolves and undergoing training to be a monster hunter like his parents, Randal's life was back to something resembling normal. He was in high school, had his driver's permit, and was worried about nothing more sinister than passing Mrs. Myers' English class. At the high school choir's madrigal dinner, however, the mysterious Mr. Quatle pulled Randal's dad aside to inform him that a troll had taken up residence under the nearby Eighth Street Bridge.

That information started a chain of events that would see Randal driving dangerously, spending a night in a hospital, torching a pixie nest, and in the clutches of a reformed death god. Things don't get really bad, however, until a troll bent on revenge kidnaps a student at the college and demands that Randal give himself up in exchange for her safety.

Then it becomes a matter of life or death.

The Troll under the Eighth Street Bridge is the third book in the Randal Regulus Monster Hunter series.
