    Every receipe is delicious!

I use this cookbook weekly to plan my family meals and have been thrilled with the results! With three children and a part-time job I need receipes that are guaranteed to please everyone. This cookbook does just that. I have also used many of the receipes for everything from elegant dinner parties (try the chocolate mousse) to casual get-togethers (try the warm artichoke dip). An added bonus is the informative, fun commentary that comes with each receipe. My favorite cookbook by far!!

Finally a cookbook where every recipe is good!!

I love cookbooks and I have several written by gourmet chefs. Unfortunately, most of these cookbooks contain a small percentage of material that is accessable to the average cook. Ms. Sweeny's cookbook on the other hand is filled with excellent recipes that are absolutely delicous but easy to make. I am completely comfortable using this cookbook for family and for entertaining. Along with the recipes, Ms Sweeny has included stories that describe how each of these recipes came to be her favorites as well as including historical background. This cookbook would be a excellent gift for new cooks or old gourmets.

    Guaranteed To Get Raves

If you like food that simply tastes good, that your family and friends will say, 'This is really good,' you should buy this cook book. There's lots of interesting anecdotes about food and life here, too. Really good food. A really interesting read.
