I recommend this book and workbook often, not only to single women but also to married women. I have been married for 12 years and I wish I had read them both before I was married. I could have avoided some of the heartaches I experienced. I needed to be a better me before I became a WE. I sincerely feel that because of the Workbook especially, I have become more aware of me and I am a better woman and a better wife.

This book is a wonderful tool for exploring yourself. You feel comfortable being single, as well as desiring the relationship you deserve. When reading the book I felt excited and enthralled to take charge!

As a forty-something divorcee, even I benefited from this book. I loved the positive outlook that the authors have and their ability to help me see the relationship mistakes I was making. The worksheet has been a great help in keeping my focus.

¿AMEN SISTER!!! What an appropriately titled book. It¿s the ¿Truth,¿ plain and simple. I laughed and even cried at one point as I saw myself, and those around me, in the pages of the book. This book validates what many of us singles feel and gives hope for the future. There is nothing wrong with us because we are single and want to be married. Being a single 30-something with a successful career, I find myself constantly defending and justifying my ¿singleness¿ to all my married friends . . . Thank you, Lakeshia and Neva, for putting into words what so many of us feel and for giving us a voice!"

What a great little gem of a book! I've never come across anything like it. The loving insight, encouragement, and powerful reassurance come across as warm and witty as an afternoon spent talking with your best friend over a cup of coffee.
