- LendMe LendMe™ Learn More
Britney Jean Spears is counted among the most popular entertainers of a new generation. She has sold over eighty million albums and given seven world tours, but within these pages you will find the tragic story of a young mother who has been swept away by her fame and carried to a place where she can't live a healthy life. From the public cameras that spy on us all to the right of a mother to be with her kids, from the antics of the paparazzi to the secrets of fortune and fame, from the psych ward to the silver screen, this is the story of a woman who had done nothing wrong and the hunger of a lonely Nation that put her on a pedestal, and pushed her off the edge.

A book that really does tell the truth. Britney ain't guilty of nothin but being great. This book goed through her whole life and never blames her but highlights where she shines. Its so beautifully written you can't help but cry. If you love Britney this is a great book for you. If you hate Britney this is a great book for you cause you'll love her when you get done.
Having read it a few times, I'd venture to leave my comments here. For one thing, it's a compliment to the book that the only negative review so far is from someone who misunderstands the intent of the book. This book is a quality piece of work, though I'm not fully objective on that, I think I can give an honest review here... Mrs. Jager writes with passion. She truly believes what she is writing -- she cares about it. There's a lot of opinion here that's presented in a very strongly emotional way, but there's also lots of fact and research to back that opinion up and drive the point home. I'd say that this book opened my eyes to the danger of gawking and peping tom attitudes in general, and the dangers of idolatry as well. I hadn't really ever stopped to consider that tabloids could be evil. She makes a good point. But most of all, it's the intense passion and the heart with which it's written that makes this worth reading. A must-read for anyone who is concerned about an addiction to tabloids and rag-mags. This will help to cure your addiction.

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Tore my heart out with all the beautiful words and support for Britney. this book is touching to the core. as i read i tried to imagine myself in britney's shoes and having to live how the story shows britney. i came to the realization that none of us are that strong and we likely all would have snapped.
