The Truth About Faith & Leprechauns takes place in Phoenix Arizona and moves into a fantasy world called Erden where Elves and magical creatures really do exist. It takes the reader from the world they are familiar with to a world which is simpler in ways and much more complex in others, the world of Erden, seen through the eyes of two teenagers and a nine year old girl from Phoenix. They face great evil and meet wonderfully good creatures they make lasting friendships and face dangers no one should have to face. In everything they learn more about faith and the nature of God and how He will answers prayers in our world or any other.
As they embark in a journey that will probably challenge not only their friendships but also their beliefs. Phil, Ruth and Cristina will soon come to find out that fantasy is based on reality, and faith it is not just thinking you can do things but believing God can handle all things.

The Truth About Faith and Leprechauns tells the story of its narrator's fantastic adventures in his quest to find God and the love of the woman he has always dreamed of, Cristina.


With a passion for fantasy and science fiction literature and the strong desire for sharing his Christian faith and great imagination the author decided to start a journey as a Christian Fantasy novelist; influenced by writers such as C.S. Lewis author of “The Chronicles of Narnia”, Terry Brooks author of “Magical Kingdom For Sale” and J.R.R Tolkien author of “The Lord of The Rings” amongst others famous writers. All this led to the creation of the magical world of "Erden" where Truth and Fantasy merge to become a story of faith, friendship and the eternal battle between good and evil.
The book is entirely based on the author’s own personal life and love story in an alternate reality filled with magical creatures all recognizing God as the “Creator” of all.

Phil Cook was born and raised in Phoenix AZ, he lives with his wife Cristina, mother in law Martha and their four dogs. He graduated from Western International University where he received his Masters degree in Business Administration and he is now a full time Realtor, dedicated Christian writer and Sunday school teacher.
