    Finally, I feel understood!

Wow! I opened it up after my daughter went to bed, intending to read just a few pages before bed, and read it straight through! After reading this book, I feel understood as a person with a disability. So much of what I read, was the things I wasn't supposed to say, to admit that I felt. That can be more confining than physical limitations, that feeling that you are wrong for how you feel. You have expressed things I am incapable of putting into words, and I don't feel so alone, because you did.
Admitting these feelings could have come off bitter, but this book does not because she acknowledges the faith, beauty, hope and love that are also a part of her life.
