Meet the Author

April M. Reign was born and raised in Southern California. During her high school years, she discovered her passion for writing. At fifteen, she began writing poetry. By the time she reached the age of twenty, she was writing short stories, with no other intention than to get the stories from her mind to paper.Years later while she worked full time and raised two adolescent boys, she decided to follow her dream to write a book. A year later, Enticing the Moon was published. Since then, she has written six novels, including: The Mancini Saga, The Turning Series, and her soon to be latest edition, The Dhellia Series. As an indie author, April M. Reign is grateful to her readers and those who have supported her dreams of being an author. With the increase in her book sales, she was able to give up her job in the corporate world and pursue her dream of writing stories, which she hopes capture the attention and intrigue of her readers.

"Reign and Arellano wrote a great story- the old fashioned blood thirsty vampire story. Intermixed with that is the story of how 2 children raised in seclusion found their way into and part of this world. This is the story of their turning- how they anticipated it, how they endured it and how it changed their personalities and shaped their futures. As to any errors, I didn't notice. But then again I was reading for story not editing. I am also a fan of another vampire and angel story writer whose characters not only have their own language, they have a totally different spelling dictionary than Webster ever intended. Please folks, if you are going to read indie writers, then remember that to keep their books affordable, there isn't a staff of 20 editors going over every word. Speeling (pun intended) errors happen. Their editors do a great job so do give them a break. The story is good, the characters are intriguing and you will want to read books 2 and 3. Apollo's character will draw you in, the Sambras will repulse you or maybe like any outcast you will pity their fate, and you will wonder about Sophie. "

I totally disagree with 11/25/14 review stating that there were to many threads to follow...... I am an avid reader, especially since aquiring my Nook.... There are so many books out there that quite frankly would never have gotten published without this new medium to support authors and "wanna be's". This, however, was very well written. The plot was intriguing, the characters were well developed, the dialoge flowed nicely, editing was pretty good, etc. 333 pages, but does end abruptly in a major cliffhanger. I , personally, would have purchased the sequel, but at the current time, it is not available through Nook! That, my friends is a major problem, one that I have encountered before and do not appreciate! (Language is clean and no erotica). Nicely done,

Good and bad are not clearly defined. Too many threads to easily follow.
