Sometimes what we wish for the most isn't always what our destiny has in store for us. Ilana had a horrible childhood and was determined to make up for it by seeking the turning kiss and living centuries to forget. But as much time as she spent in the Midnight Playground, not once had she been offered anything more then a night of sensual pleasure. Once she spotted Calam, she is forced to rethink her lease on life while sharing herself with two lustful vampires and one sinfully sexy human.
Calam didn't have an easy childhood either but the one thing that kept him sane was the love of working at Midnight Playground. Many a vampire had graced his bed and a few even wormed their way into his heart but none held a candle to Ilana. With each touch of her silken skin and each erotic interlude with the two sinfully sexy vampires, Konstantine and Luka, he can't help but rethink everything.
Calam is a man after my own heart. He is both sinfully sexy and loyal to a fault which makes him all that much more appealing. Ilana is a woman with shadows. But she isn't afraid to push herself to the limits. Her actions show the great depth in her character. I loved Konstantine and Luka. The way they interacted with Calam and Ilyna was phenomenal for vampires. They care deeply and it reflects greatly in their actions through the end.
Where do I even start with this book and how amazing it was? Not only were the characters well rounded but the story was deliciously written to where you couldn't help but turn the pages to read more. The ending was both delightful and surprising. I didn't see it coming but I was happy when it did. I have read each and every one of the books in this series and with each one Ms. Bradley makes me look forward to the next.

I could not put this book down! Loved the first two in the series so I knew I was not going to be disappointed. There is a different kind of twist in this one which I was not expecting, without giving too much away it was not predictable and made this book all the better. Once again Ms. Bradley has done an outstanding job, cannot wait for Ever's story Eversong.

The Turning Kiss is an exquisite, dark vampire tale set in the futuristic world that Ms. Bradley has created for her series, The Midnight Playground. Just with the first two, this book is smoking hot; BDSM, vampires, and elite club for the beautiful. What's not to love? I swear, as this series progresses, each book get's hotter...daring to break even more boundaries. Two lovers, three, then four, then two, then four...and not once did I loose track of what was going on, it was perfectly choreographed, and sensationally hot! And with all that going on, we get down and dirty...with the characters pain and reasons for wanting love, and for needing...The Turning Kiss. MULTIPLE PARTNERS -- BDSM -- m/m m/f/m m/m/f/m f/m. Hey, I told you a lot was going on :)
