Michael Karol's latest, The TV Tidbits Classic Television Book of Lists ($16.95, iUniverse soft cover) is an addictive, entertaining 175-page read, one that simply can't be put down. I know I couldn't. Armed with his love of all things TV, Karol's lists include the usual suspects (longest-running shows, TV's top moments), but also creative listings (related people who worked together, comic superheroes on TV, most famous catch phrases, male TV actors who cut records, and well-known TV replacements, among others). I just had a good time reading through this. I learned and enjoyed myself so much. I'd welcome any book by Michael Karol, a good, solid, conscientious television historian of the first order. Karol has a website, www.Sitcomboy.com, for more information about this and his other books.
