Gamer. Nerd. Sorceress.

This is the omnibus of the first three books in the bestselling Twenty-Sided Sorceress urban fantasy series by Annie Bellet, collected together for the first time in one convenient volume. Fans of The Dresden Files and The Iron Druid Chronicles will enjoy this series.

Book One- Justice Calling:

Jade Crow lives a quiet life running her comic book and game store in Wylde, Idaho. After twenty-five years fleeing from a powerful sorcerer who wants to eat her heart and take her powers, quiet suits her just fine. Surrounded by friends who are even less human than she is, Jade figures she's finally safe.

As long as she doesn't use her magic.

When dark powers threaten her friends' lives, a sexy shape-shifter enforcer shows up. He's the shifter world's judge, jury, and executioner rolled into one, and he thinks Jade is to blame. To clear her name, save her friends, and stop the villain, she'll have to use her wits... and her sorceress powers.

Except Jade knows that as soon as she does, a far deadlier nemesis awaits.

Book Two- Murder of Crows:

They say you can never go home again. If only that were true...

Game store owner and nerd sorceress extraordinaire Jade Crow knows death stalks her in the form of her murderous ex-lover, Samir, a sorcerer who wants to eat her heart and take her power. With the help of her friends, and sexy tiger-shifter Alek, Jade trains for the inevitable confrontation.

Until her estranged father shows up begging for help. Someone or something is murdering the crow shifters of Three Feathers ranch and her father believes sorcery is the only way to stop the killings.
Faced with an unknown foe, a family that exiled her decades before, a deepening relationship with Alek, and Samir's ever-present threat, Jade will need all the power she's gained and then some to stop the Murder of Crows.

Book Three- Pack of Lies:

Let sleeping dogs lie. Wolves, on the other hand...

Recovering from a broken heart and coming to terms with her family history, all sorceress Jade Crow wants is to resume running her comic book store and gaming with her friends. With a town full of strange wolf shifters, a hundred-and-fifty-year-old peace accord hanging in the balance, and the Justice who broke her heart back in her life, Jade's plans go out the proverbial window.

Wolves are killing wolves, innocent human lives are caught in the crossfire, and not everyone in town is who they appear to be. As the bodies stack up and the doubts build, Jade and her friends race to find the true killer.

And then Jade's evil ex-lover makes another move...

This collection of the first three books in Bellet's urban fantasy series is a heck of a lot of fun. Jade is a great protagonist: emotionally wounded, but still brave and determined to protect her friends. And I love the supporting cast. I can't wait to start on the next book. Highly recommended to fans of Jim Butcher, Lindsey Buroker, and Thea Harrison. -- lyradora

I found the first book in this series as part of a free collection and this was my absolute favorite of the seven short novels. The modern pop culture references are charming and fun and the characters are really well developed, you really want to root for them. I cannot wait to find more by Annie Bellet and I would highly reccomend this book to anyone looking for a fun new series, especially if you play D&D or any other rpgs.

Just finished Justice Calling. A great start to what looks like a fine series. The Murder of Crows delves into Jade's background, a very violent visit home. During this visit, she learns more about herself and her tribe. Pack of Lies was as good as the first two books. Exciting, mystery, and lots of violence. During it all Jade and Alek are learning more about each other.

I am a big fan of Anita blake series as well as Mercy Thompson . I came across this series by accident - Love it! As I am writing this I have read all 6 current books in this series over the weekend . I am waiting on the next with excited anticipation . The books are only 170 or so pages but is cost equivalent to a longer novel . Humorous , Magical and a lot of potential for a longer series . Love the characters, the true emotional depth they feel - no false bravado. Strong story with twists and turns . Some grammatical errors but I am a stickler. I might suggest longer novels in the future , but that is only my impatience speaking .

Good read. Worth the time and money. Wished she could tone down the language. It was not neccesary to make it a good book.

I reaaallyy love this series. Everything about it is great. I love the way you know the characters love each other even though the writer does not go into their bed with them and tell you step-by-step what happens. Lots of twists and turns. I will recommend to friends.
