Overview

Seeing Mikhail from across the room had Kristen’s heart pounding. And when he approached her, there wasn’t much she could do to resist. Two months after meeting, they were married. Two months after that, she was pregnant. And four months into the pregnancy, her baby girl was fighting for her life.

Kristen left the stress and chaos of New York life, but never meant to leave Mikhail.
When he didn’t follow her, she was crushed, but she had to put her unborn child first. Diligently, she wrote to him as her pregnancy progressed, and as their daughter grew up, she wrote of her escapades each month, sending the letter off in the hopes that something she said in one of them would entice him back into their lives.

She had no idea that a petty secretary was hiding her letters, screening her calls so
Mikhail wasn’t even aware of the birth of their child. When one of those letters slipped by, he was furious and flew to Minnesota to claim his child, and punish his wife for denying him his parental rights.

    Really enjoyed

This is my first book by this author and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work. The story has everything. Romance, strife, sex, and misunderstanding. Put together very well I just wanted it to be longer, but I recommend it to all readers.

    Eh

This was not my fave of all E.L.'s books. Just when it felt like it was heating up it cooled down. It's an OK read and it will definitely NOT stop me from reading the rest of her books but it was just mediocre for me.

    Liked this book

I really thought this was a refreshing story, original, not like most where the rich guy meets poor gal, and gives her the world on a silver platter. Of course i would have liked the story to be a little longer, disappointed that it was only 85 pages, but all in all a pretty good read.
