Being a school teacher I have children in my classroom with food allergens. I saw Judi and Shari Zucker, The Double Energy Twins, on The Today Show, and I immediately got The Ultimate Allergy-Free Snack Cookbook. I wanted to have tasty allergen-free snacks for class parties that all the children in my classroom could enjoy. I decided to make Everyone’s Favorite Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, The Double Energy Crunch Bars, and The Pizza with the Quick n Easy Pizza Sauce. My kids are picky eaters and they LOVED all the foods I prepared in this book! The pizza sauce was so delicious that I used it on top of pasta and veggies, too. There’s great information on how to stock an allergen-free kitchen and The Guide to Avoiding Food Allergens was extremely helpful…who knew wheat could be in caramel coloring?This book is a must for every parent and teacher!Was this review helpful?
